Road to 1000lb squat Empty
PostSubject: Road to 1000lb squat   Road to 1000lb squat Icon_minitimeThu Oct 29, 2009 7:12 am

So I am newly sponsored by APT and couldn't be more excited. I have set some very hard goals to reach by March. Squat at least 1000 in a single ply suit (no briefs) Bench 700-800(single ply APEX) and deadlift 800 or better raw. My best lifts to date are 795 deadlift raw, bench 650 in an Inzer Super Phenom(which I ditched for APEX lol) and squat 815 raw. I have done all of this at 247-249.So I should be able to accomplish these goals in the 242 or 275 class. I will be using all APT gear except squatsuit(single ply Inzer TRX) but be assured when APT makes squat suits I will be a guinea pig for them lol. I will keep most workouts logged and maybe some differentmethods will help others? Take care all Steve Bly Jr

I squatted 850 raw last night and was very excited about that. And as for 670... it doesnt matter if you used a 1,2,3 ply you still have to push the weight. Great job on the press! Im sure I will easily hit my 7-800 lb goal in this single ply APEX. I want to make them proud they sponsored me!
